Elle Cabot is a multimedia artist and the author of “Bees Think I’m a Flower: Memoirs from Him to Her to Me.” She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in fashion design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a vigorous appetite for research. She is currently delving into the world of fiction, continuing her mixed-media Broadsheets series and questioning just about everything.
She counts among her influences the works of the painter Alma W. Thomas, quilt artist Charles E. Queen, sculptor Andy Goldsworthy, and jazz visionary Alice Coltrane.
